[OTT뉴스=OTT 평론가 김지연] 원작이 있는 드라마들의 인기가 뜨겁다.

<D.P.>, <스위트홈>, <모범택시>, <유미의 세포들> 등 웹툰 원작 드라마는 이제 하나의 트렌드로 자리잡았다.

소설을 원작으로 삼은 드라마도 적지 않다.

<보건교사 안은영>, <오월의 청춘>부터 현재 방영 중인 <홍천기> 역시 소설을 드라마화했다.

10%가 넘는 시청률을 보이며 인기리에 방영 중인 <갯마을 차차차>는 영화를 드라마화했다.

2004년 영화 <어디선가 누군가에 무슨 일이 생기면 틀림없이 나타난다 홍반장>(이하 <홍반장>)이 원작이다.

그렇다면 108분 분량의 영화 한 편이 16부작의 드라마로 다시 태어나기까지 무엇이 달라졌고 또 원작과 얼마나 비슷할까.

배우들의 연기와 이미지에 따른 차이는 있지만, 원작의 기본 설정과 굵직한 에피소드는 그대로 가져왔다.

혜진(<갯마을 차차차>-신민아 분, <홍반장>-엄정화 분)은 서울에서 일자리를 잃고 작은 어촌 마을에서 치과를 개업하게 되면서 마을의 '홍반장'이라고 불리는 두식(<갯마을 차차차>-김선호 분, <홍반장>-김주혁 분)과 사랑에 빠진다.

변화한 시대상에 맞게 혜진은 드라마에서 좀 더 주체적이고 독립적인 캐릭터가 됐고, 공진에서 보낸 혜진의 어린 시절 추억 등 개연성을 위한 디테일이 추가됐다.

가장 두드러지는 변화는 새롭게 추가된 캐릭터들이다.

드라마에선 원작엔 없던 성현(이상이 분) 캐릭터가 삼각관계를 위해 추가됐다.

성현은 성공한 예능 PD이자, 과거 혜진의 짝사랑 대상이었던 대학 선배기도 하다.

촬영을 위해 공진에 머무르게 된 성현은 사람 좋은 넉살로 자연스럽게 공진에 스며들고, 두식과도 브로맨스 케미를 뿜어낸다.

<갯마을 차차차>를 보는 또 다른 재미는 바로 공진 마을 사람들일 것이다.

영화에선 그냥 지나가는 엑스트라였던 마을 사람들에게 개성 넘치는 캐릭터를 부여하고 조연들의 서사를 추가했다.

공진 주민들은 드라마 초기엔 혜진과 갈등을 겪기도 하지만 외지인 혜진을 따뜻하게 품어주며 드라마의 웃음을 담당하고 있다.

또한, 혜진과 두식의 로맨스 외에도 궁금증을 야기할 만한 서사들이 추가됐다.

대표적으로 공진의 3대 미스터리가 있다.

공진의 3대 미스터리는 화정(이봉련 분)과 영국(인교진 분)의 갑작스러운 이혼 사유, 로또 14억 당첨금의 주인, 그리고 묘연했던 홍반장의 5년간의 행적이다.

화정과 영국의 경우엔 영국의 첫사랑 초희(홍지희 분)가 공진에 다시 돌아옴으로써 삼각관계를 형성하며 궁금증을 더하고 있다.

두식의 사라진 5년 동안의 행적은 원작에도 있는 설정이긴 하지만 원작에선 뒷이야기가 밝혀지진 않았다.

드라마에선 영화와 달리 미스터리가 속 시원히 밝혀질 것으로 보여 기대를 모으고 있다.

원작의 매력적인 설정을 가져오되, 조연들과 주변 서사를 풍부하게 보충해 인기몰이를 하고 있는 <갯마을 차차차>는 티빙과 넷플릭스를 통해 볼 수 있다.

Some reasons why 〈Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha> surpasses the original 〈Hongbanjang>

小説を原作としたドラマも少なくない。

＜保健教師アン・ウンヨン＞、＜五月の青春＞から現在放映中の＜ホンチョンギ＞も小説をドラマ化した。

10％を超える視聴率を見せ、人気里に放映中の「海街チャチャチャ」は映画をドラマ化した。

2004年の映画『紅盤場』が原作だ。

それなら108分分の映画の片方が16部作のドラマで生まれ変わるまで何が変わったし、また原作とどれほど似ているだろうか。

俳優たちの演技とイメージによる違いはあるが、原作の基本設定と大胆なエピソードはそのまま持ってきた。

ヘジンはソウルで雇用を失い、小さな漁村で歯科を開業するようになり、村の「紅斑長」と呼ばれる豆腐と恋に落ちる。

変化した時代に合わせて、ヘジンはドラマでもう少し主体的で独立したキャラクターになり、共鳴で送ったヘジンの子供時代の思い出など、開演性のためのディテールが追加された。

最も顕著な変化は新たに追加されたキャラクターだ。

ドラマでは原作にはなかったソンヒョンキャラクターが三角関係のために追加された。

ソンヒョンは成功した芸能PDであり、過去のヘジンの片思いの対象だった大学先輩でもある。

撮影のために共振にとどまったソンヒョンは、人の良いノクサルで自然に共鳴に浸透し、フードともブロマンスケミを吹き出す。

＜海街チャチャチャ＞を見るもう一つの楽しみはまさに共鳴村の人々だろう。

映画ではただ通り過ぎるエクストラだった村人たちに個性あふれるキャラクターを与え、助演の叙事詩を追加した。

共振住民たちはドラマ初期にはヘジンと葛藤を経験することもあるが、外地人のヘジンを暖かく抱いてドラマの笑いを担当している。

共振の三大ミステリーは、火政と英国の突然の離婚事由、ロト14億当選金の主人、そして描いた紅斑長の5年間の行為だ。

ファジョンとイギリスの場合には、イギリスの初恋チョヒが共振に戻って三角関係を形成して気になることを加えている。

ドゥシクの消えた5年間の行為は原作にもある設定ではあるが、原作では裏話が明らかになっていない。

ドラマでは映画とは異なり、ミステリーが中涼しく明らかになると見られる期待を集めている。
